The Faulkner Organization is looking for an Accounting Clerk with exceptional critical thinking skills, the ability to work independently, and who is self-motivated. Some accounting experience is preferred, but we will provide training and consider candidates with strong organizational skills, a high level of attention to details, and the desire to learn and grow within a company. This person will need to work with a team as well as independently, and must be able to follow established processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform basic and intermediate accounting operations

• Create and maintain Accounting reports

• Post accounts receivable and/or payable invoices into accounting system

• Reconcile accounts on a weekly/monthly basis

• Maintain highest ethical practices and protect valuable company/customer information

  
  

  Requirements
  

• High School diploma required, some college preferred

  1-2 years of accounting experience
  

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and meet all deadlines

• Must have ability to work well with all levels of staff and management

• Effective organization and prioritization skills

• Excellent computer, verbal and written communication skills are a must

• Experience with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Highest ethical standard

  
  

  Selected candidate must be able to perform all job functions that require bending, standing, lifting, and reaching. Selected candidate must be available to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
