The Faulkner Organization is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join the existing team in Bethlehem and handle Accounts Payable/Receivable. This person should have exceptional critical thinking skills, the ability to work independently, and be self-motivated. Accounting experience is preferred, but we will consider candidates with strong Accounting education. This person will need to work with a team as well as independently, and must be able to follow established processes.

This person will:

Perform basic and advanced accounting operations 

Create and maintain Accounting reports

Post accounts receivable and/or payable invoices into accounting system

Reconcile accounts on a weekly/monthly basis

Maintain highest ethical practices and protect valuable company/customer information


Requirements

Bachelors or Associates degree in Accounting preferred 

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently and meet all deadlines

Must have ability to work well with all levels of staff and management

Effective organization and prioritization skills

Excellent computer, verbal and written communication skills are a must

Highest ethical standards

Selected candidate must be able to perform all job functions that require bending, standing, lifting, and reaching. Selected candidate must be available to work extended hours and weekends as necessary
