The Faulkner Organization is looking for a Parts Manager to join our growing team in the Mechanicsburg area!


Responsibilities/ Essential Functions:

  • Forecast goals and objectives for the department and meet them

  • Prepare and administer annual operating budget for the parts department

  • Hire, train, motivate and monitor the performance of all parts counter sales people and drivers

  • Provide technical advice and support to service technicians as needed

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business

  • Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect parts department operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.

  • Attend managers’ meetings as needed 


Requirements

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license along with: 

  • 2+ years of proven management experience in automotive parts/warehousing or automotive repair

  • Experience in managing, hiring and developing employees

  • Ability to forecast, and achieve sales and profit goals

  • Excellent computer skills and very detail oriented

  • Maintain the highest work quality

  • Ability to work well with customers, co-workers, and manufacturers

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Highest ethical standards


Other job considerations:  Selected candidate must be able to perform all job functions that require lifting and or carrying single items weighing at least 50 lbs as well as functions/activities such as pulling, pushing, bending, standing, lifting, and reaching.   Selected candidate must be available to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
