Faulkner Hyundai is searching for a high-energy, well qualified Service Manager who is ready to hit the ground running to add to our existing team! 

Responsibilities/ Essential Functions:

• Forecast goals and objectives for the department, monitor their progress and implement changes as needed

• Prepare and administer annual operating budget for the service department

• Hire, train, motivate and monitor the performance of all service technicians

• Provide technical advice and support to service technicians as needed

• Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business

• Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect service department operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.

• Attend managers’ meetings as needed

Job Requirements

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and:

• 3-5 years of proven automotive service management experience; dealership experience preferred

• Experience in managing, hiring and developing employees, evaluating performance required

• Ability to forecast and achieve sales/profit goals

• Excellent computer skills and very detail oriented

• Manage a highly productive shop while maintaining the highest work quality

• Ability to work well with customers, co-workers, and manufacturers

Other job considerations: Selected candidate must be able to perform all job functions that require lifting and or carrying single items weighing up to 50 lbs as well as functions/activities such as pulling, pushing, bending, standing, lifting, and reaching. Selected candidate must be available to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
